What Additional Components Do I Need for My Intel® RealSense™ Depth Module D400 Series?

Refer to the RealSense D400 datasheet, Table 2-1. Depth Module Product SKU Descriptions, to see a list of components that are compatible with each stereo depth module. 

All of the components are sold separately by Intel Authorized Distributors and some can be found in the Intel RealSense Store:

• Intel® RealSense™ Depth Module
• Intel® RealSense™ Vision Processor D4 board (select appropriate version)
• USB Type-C cable
• Interposer

Refer to Figure 3-11. Depth Module Connector Orientation and Pin Position to see how the Stereo Depth module connects to the Vision Processor board.

The interposer connects the Stereo Depth module to the Vision Processor D4 board. Section 3.7.3 has information on flexible or rigid interposers. Table 3-33. Custom Flex Interposer Ordering Logistics, lists the contacts of the vendor that sells flexible interposers.

The USB Type-C cable is used to connect the Vision Processor D4 board to the host platform.

Intel does not support adding RGB sensors to the Vision Processor D4 board.
