IK certification for RealSense Depth Camera D435

  Hi Vdelee  The front glass of RealSense cameras is not IK certified against impacts of certain joule values.  There is the option of creating your own toughened custom housing for the camera and placing the camera inside it though.  The example housing in the image below is from an underwater project, though housings can be smaller to tightly grip around the camera.

   

  

   

  However, in the history of RealSense cameras from 2014 until now I know of only one case where the front glass has been broken.

  Thank you very much for your answer.

  In our case, the cameras will be placed in metro stations and the IK certification guarantees us resistance against vandalism.
  We're going to test it internally.
