2016 SDK 1.0 preset hand gestures equivalent in 2021 ?
Hi, I have just bought the D435 for a project including some hand tracking (our aim is to control an earth globe with hand gestures). In the past week, the 2016 SDK was taken down from the intel website. It contained a bunch of information on a set of hand gestures that the camera would be able to recognize from the get-go. With that was a bunch of examples of codes in C/C++, Js, Python, all that jazz.
But as of now I have not found any equivalent to that page. Dose de SDK2.0 not have anything about this set of hand gestures?
Thanks in advance for any answers !

Hi Hugorechatin RealSense SDK 2.0 does not have built-in support for hand gestures. Gesture recognition is provided in the RealSense 400 Series compatible commercial software Gestoos (D415 / D435) and the Nuitrack SDK (D415 / D435 / D435i / D455 / L515) by 3DiVi, as highlighted in the people-tracking section of the Intel RealSense Use Cases page.

Intel also recently launched the Touchless Control Software for the D435 model. Though not gesture recognition (it allows touch controls to be replaced with touchless), it may still fit your application if it is one that could be performed with touch controls instead of gestures.
