ILLUMINATOR(IR LED) of RealSense ID SOLUTION F455

Hi Everyone,

I'm using F455 as I mentioned in my title and I want to know that when Authentication button is clicked illuminator(IR LED) starts blinking as per second with respectively the picture which is displayed on the screen also make flashes as per second.

Can't we stop flashing as per second? if we can stop flashing, then what is the solution?

    Hi Budathoki-k,

     

    This is expected behaviour. The IR projector is used to create texture in the scene so that the sensors can best determine facial features.

    I do not want a flash when I click Authentication button.

    Is it possible not to make a flash when Authentication button is clicked?

    Hi Budathoki Keshab,

     

    The IR illuminator cannot be disabled during authentication as the IR from the illuminator helps ensure the most accuracy. Section 2.2.2 of the RealSense ID datasheet has more information about the IR illuminator.
