Intel Realsense 3D Camera Firmware Failed
I have a HP ENVY Notebook 17t-u000 and after a Windows Update, the Windows Hello feature stopped working on the camera, even after Windows Update installed the driver. So, upon research, I instructed to go into Device Manager and uninstalled the drivers to RealSense SR300 and reinstalled the drivers using intel_rs_dcm_sr300_3.4.98.4970.exe. The firmware failed with error: 1fc48638 (-25), now I think the camera is bricked because refreshing Device Manager (or rebooting the PC), Windows can't find the camera. Then I did a full Windows 10 Reset and it still doesn't see the camera.
Is there any way to fix a corrupted firmware? I have the log files zipped here in One Drive.
Thanks,
Phil

Hi Pskinstle. Is the SR300 built into the laptop instead of being an external USB plug-in camera please? If it is built in then it is unfortunately much more difficult to correct problems than with the USB version of the camera.
With popular laptop brands there is sometimes the option to perform a factory restore of the computer that restores it to the configuration that it had when purchased new, including pre-installed programs and files. HP has an HP Recovery Manager tool.

If it is a built-in camera and a factory restore does not correct the problem then trying further to fix it is likely to be very time consuming with no successful outcome guaranteed. The HP support site would be a recommended place to conduct further enquiries in that case.
