No RealSense Devices found & D457
Hi,
I am reaching out regarding an issue I am facing with the RealSense cameras and the official ROS driver provided by Intel. I have the following setup:
- Jetson AGX Orin running Ubuntu 20.04 with ROS Noetic
- Three RealSense D457 cameras connected via GMSL to a camera driver board
- The camera driver board is connected to the Jetson AGX Orin
I have successfully installed the corresponding RealSense driver and can view the camera streams using the RealSense Viewer application. However, when I attempt to run the ROS driver by executing the command "roslaunch realsense2_camera rs_camera.launch", I continuously encounter the error message "No RealSense Devices found".

Hi Maoshouyun Support for the D457 camera model was added to the ros2-development RealSense ROS2 wrapper at the start of 2023.
https://github.com/IntelRealSense/realsense-ros/pull/2557
Updates of the ROS1 wrapper that rs_camera.launch belongs to have ceased though, unfortunately. A D457 should be detectable as a D455 by the ROS1 wrapper if the physical mode switch under the removable cap on top of its casing has been pushed from the default 'MIPI' GMSL-enabled position over to the 'USB' position, but it sounds as though this would not suit your project as it is using GMSL.
