Alternative I can use instead of T265

Hello,

I was planning to develop a UAV that can vSlam using drone software using Ardupilot or PX4 along with the T265 camera.

The compatibility of the T265 camera with the software I mentioned above and the additional ability to perform internal slams with the Movidius VPU provided unique possibilities for this project. However, the fact that the production of this camera has stopped as of February has created a problem as it will cause problems in my future-oriented developments. Alternatively, the D435i model closest to this camera can be used, but with half the capabilities.

Is there an alternative that I can use instead of the T265 or do you have a suggestion for this problem.
For example, D435i + any vision processor board. Do you have any suggestions to replace T265?

In addition, it is very sad that a product with such capabilities is removed from the market. Will there be a new model? Do you have any work related to this?

    The suggested alternatives for T265 are D455 and D435i. These cameras include an IMU, which is necessary for SLAM and tracking applications. Additionally, they require using 3rd party SLAM system. We suggest you use Spatial Intelligence SDK from SLAMCORE.
