Request for Support with Intel T265 Camera
Dear Intel Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my concerns and seek assistance regarding my recent purchase of the Intel T265 camera.
I have acquired the T265 camera with the intention of using it in my Python and C++ projects. However, I have encountered a significant challenge as the new versions of the associated libraries have removed all relevant examples and do not seem to recognize the camera. Unfortunately, older versions of these libraries are no longer available.
As a result, I find myself unable to utilize this camera effectively for my projects. While I can use it in the Intel RealSense Viewer, it is not suitable for my specific project requirements.
I would like to kindly request access to the older versions of the libraries and related examples that were available before the recent changes. This would greatly assist me in resolving the issues I am currently facing and allow me to fully utilize the Intel T265 camera for my projects.
I understand that changes and updates are made to improve products and services, but it is essential to ensure continued support for existing hardware to meet the needs of your customers. I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to your prompt assistance in finding a solution to this problem.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Sincerely,
-
Hi Fatemeh Najafi,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
First of all, we would to declare that we had been discontinued our Tracking Camera, T265, starting February 2022. Hence, some content and the code supporting End Of Life products has been removed in the latest SDK.
In this case, I would suggest you to use Intel® RealSense™ SDK 2.0 (v2.53.1) as T265 is in the code and recognized on Linux and Windows, but no longer tested.

Yu Chern
