Outdoor Day and Night?

Hello,

I'm designing an autonomous robot that will driver around during the day and during the night and needs a sensor (besides LiDAR) to help with navigation.
Do any of the Realsense camera's work well both during the day and during the night?

Or it that not possible as IR usually doesn't work well with the sun's daylight and RBG stereo usually can't see enough at nighttime...

    Hi D Vandegraaf5  Most RealSense 400 Series stereo depth camera models except D405 can operate in the dark as they are equipped with an infrared projector component.  The 400 Series cameras also perform excellently in strong daytime light, except when faced directly towards the sun. 

     

    RealSense 'f' models equipped with a light-blocking filter on their sensors, such as D435f and D455f can help to mitigate light glare.
