What's coming after the T265, if anything?

I've been spending a lot of time putting together a project with the T265 (pose data important), only to read on a discussion here that Intel are no longer addressing questions on this hardware.

Anyone know the reason why? Is it a project that they're just dropping altogether, or are there plans for a next generation 'T265 v.2' device?

Such a pity, I know the device has its bugs, but it also has a lot of potential...

    I would like also to support this question.

    As it deals with a next hardware generation : is it intended to add a calibrated non-fish eye RGB cam in addition to the 2 fish eye cams ? Would be great for AR purposes...

    adding to the wish list for future updates.

    The visual odometry is good, but it would be great to get SLAM integrated onboard the device.

    Thanks Jesus - I'm sure we all appreciate that a roadmap can't be given, but is Intel even interested in this direction? Can you comment on why Intel is no longer addressing questions on the T265?

    As for myself, I'm kind of at a crossroads with choosing my hardware for some research that will take up to a couple years, and I have to make an intelligent decision as to what kind of tools I'm investing in.

    We are still addressing questions on the T265. Whether a solution is possible will depend on the nature of each case individually.
