Hi Tcboy881118  As a starting point, could you first minimize the Laser Power option's slider to a very low level (not quite zero).  If the disruption on the RGB image disappears then this would indicate that the noise may be infrared leaking into the RGB image.

If you are experiencing the RGB problem when using the camera in a video call application such as Skype, outside of SDK applications such as the RealSense Viewer, then it does suggest that the cause of the issue may be outside of the SDK.  Is your computer using Windows or Linux, please?

MartyG The noise issue happens in RealSense Viewer, as you can see in my video.

    Windows.
I tried with a different PC, same.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.   You stated that the problem occurred whilst on a video call, so it sounded as though the camera was being used as a video conferencing webcam.  :)  This would be a good way to test the camera hardware's RGB though to narrow down the possible causes.

    STEP ONE

Please type the word camera into the text box at the bottom of your Windows screen to find the Windows Camera app.  This is an app designed for ordinary cameras.

    STEP TWO

Run the Camera app with your RealSense camera plugged in.

If the display is empty then left-click on the Change Camera option to switch to the RealSense camera.

If you get a pop-up warning saying that the camera could not be started but you can see the RGB video image behind the box, just ignore it and click Close to continue.

Do you see a normal video image like the one below when following this procedure?
