Right MIPI error

Hi,

I encountered "Right MIPI error" for several times with the new D455 camera. At first, I observed the bad depth image quality in my application. Then I switched to "Intel RealSense Viewer" and saw the "Right MIPI error" message.

As you can see in the below picture. One of the IR camera got defective image (upper one).

The problem can be solved by "Hardware reset". But the problem has occurred for at least 3 times without any physical shock within 2 months. The ambient temperature is not high, just around 15-25C.

So what's the problem? Hardware issue or software bug?

Hi Yzkzero If the Right MIPI error has only occurred several times in a 2 month period and you can clear the problem after a hardware reset, and you can stream normally the rest of the time, then it is very likely to just be a software hiccup rather than a hardware malfunction.
