RealSense L515 USB 2.1
I've ordered the RealSense L515 camera and for some odd reason it operates in the following two ways. One, either within realsense-viewer or a ROS realsense package, it will instantly recognize itself to be plugged into USB 2.1. Two, either within realsense-viewer or ROS realsense package, it will recognize itself plugged into 3.2 and after a few moments it will toggle to 2.1. The temporary fixes such as unplugging and reconnecting, switching direction of USB cable, hardware reset, firmware upgrade, and even a few attempts at drivers have not given consistent results. Is there anything I am doing wrong which makes it perform this way?
UPDATE: Please do not close this thread as this seems to be a prevalent issue on the matter. The private tickets do nothing but refer me back to here or re-state my prior understanding of being past the warranty period. I am in a senior design team with a limited budget and a $360 should at the very least have extended warranty if all units have some percentage of being defective. All other two cameras D435 and T265 have been great. However, I do not want to have to document and contact my way into the matter of how the company manages this prevalent and reoccurring issue. Thank you for your understanding.
