    The difference between one image and another seems reasonable, considering that:

    -  There is a reflective glass window inbetween the camera's apparent position and the observed person behind the window

    -  It is an outdoor scene with variable natural lighting

    If it is confirmed that glare from window reflections is the source of the differences then you may be able to significantly reduce the effect on the camera image of such glare by applying a physical optical filter called a linear polarizer over the camera lens.  Section 4.4 of Intel's white-paper document about optical filters provides a lot of detail about this subject.
