Is it possible the L515 capture the depth of aggregate (rock) ?
I recently bought the Intel Realscense Lidar L515. I want to know how to capture the depth of the aggregate (rock) as shown in the image. After I get the depth information of the aggregate, I want to construct the 3D of the aggregate. Therefore, what should I do for this case ? Thank you very much.

Hello Lyhour,
You may be able to get a depth accuracy of 1mm at closer distances and the environment is perfect. Getting sub-millimeter accuracy will be difficult. The biggest concern is that your rocks seem to be outdoors but the L515 is strictly an indoor camera. The L515 is very sensitive to ambient IR and exposure to sunlight will severely degrade performance.
Be sure to read the L515 User Guide for more useful details on getting the best performance from your L515.Regards,
