Skeleton Tracking Support in RealSense SDK – Current Status?

Hi everyone,

I’m evaluating RealSense (D435 / D455) for a robotics project and had a quick question about skeleton tracking.

In the past, I recall there was some support via external tools (like Cubemos SDK), but as far as I can tell, the official RealSense SDK hasn’t included native skeleton tracking and hasn’t been updated in that regard for several years.

Is there any official or community-supported solution for skeleton tracking that works reliably with RealSense today?
And is there any plan to reintroduce or support such features in the future?

Would love to hear what others are doing in this area – or if you’ve migrated to other hardware (e.g., OAK-D) for that reason.

Hi Shaigiv Skeleton tracking for RealSense cameras is provided by the commercial software product Nuitrack SDK.
