D435 USB Connection Problem

I connected my realsense D435 to my pc and now it my computer wont recognize the device.

Windows doesn't even register that the device is connected. I can hear the device humming so I know it is receiving power. I tested the cord using my phone and it registers just fine.

Im not sure what the issue is any recommendations?

Is the device damaged?

Hi Jonsef As a starting point in investigating your case, could you use the instructions in the link below to check that the access settings in the camera privacy options in Windows are set to On, please?

Thank you for checking the privacy options.

If a group policy is set in Windows (which may be the case for PCs in a workplace) then a camera may not work on a workplace computer that has such a policy defined for it but work correctly on a personal PC at home.
