Future of the RealSense Product Line
My company is very interested in pursuing a design using the RealSense technology. (Specifically the D455). I recently came across the following article and wanted to get more information about the future of the product line.

Is this division being purchased by another company?
Will the existing camera continue to be built and Supported or has an EOL date been established?
Any information would be helpful. Thank you.

Does anyone have more information about the future and roadmap of Intel RealSense? We've chosen the Intel RealSense D456 camera for our product and heavily depend on this technology for future success. After the news three years ago about Intel announcing the RealSense team's restructuring, and winding down the RealSense business unit plus the EOL of LiDAR (L515), we were very concerned.
The latest webinar, “Unlocking New Dimensions in Stereo Depth – Twice the Range,” on July 19, 2023, only mentioned support for LibRealSense without revealing new products for 2024 onwards. Moreover, the LibRealSense open-source SDK is receiving far fewer updates than before.
Should we be concerned?

Hi Javier Whilst Intel cannot comment on possible future RealSense products, you can be assured that the RealSense product range is continuing and the RealSense SDK continues to be actively developed and receive updates.
Intel recently published a marketing email at the link below with current news about RealSense products.
