F455 - Product discontinued - And now?!

Hello,

we recently integrated in our software the F455 for face recognition.

We just discovered that the product is disconitnued and replaced by D415.

How will it work the integration of the new camera for face recognition?

What we should install? How much code will be necessary? The F455 with RealSenseID was almost plug and play...will it be the same with the D415?

Thanks for reaching out to us.
The suggested alternatives for F455 are D415 and D435. Using them for facial authentication requires 3rd party facial authentication software to run on the host in conjunction with the depth camera.

Apologies for the delay in replying to you. We don't have any partners or specific recommendations for facial authentication.
Our 3rd party software partner list is at https://www.intelrealsense.com/software-for-intel-realsense/ but there is no facial authentication software listed.
