L515 Frame Rate with Macbook

Hello,

 

I'm using L515 in Windows PC and MacBook.

When I set the maximum sensor resolution, the big delay occurs and RGB image and depth image do not synchronize in MacBook.

But in Windows PC, these issues do not occur.

Could you please give me advices to resolve these issues in MacBook?

    Thank you for contacting us.

    The L515 may have some problems running on macOS because of compatibility issues with the IMU.

    Thank you for your comment.

    Now I do not need the IMU data, so it is OK to stop the IMU data from the camera.

    Incidentally, is it possible to stop or kill the data output of IMU?

    I expect that the data output of RGB image and depth image is improved by it.

    I would like to know how the stable resolutions and frame rates of RGB image and Depth image are when using L515 on MacOS.

    Could you please tell me the dictum?

    There are known issues running L515 on a Mac. There are sometimes issues with running RGB and Depth streams. There is still no official solution yet.

    Hello Halim,

     

    Recently I found that we can download and install librealsense using Homebrew.

    (Command : brew install librealsense)

    Now librealsense 2.49.0 is installed.

    And I found that the big delay issue is cleared in this librealsense. 

    I executed the applicaiton "realsense-viewer" and checked it.

     

    So I think there is a possibility to clear the issue in librealsense which built by myself.

    Do you know the building configuration of librealsense of Homebrew?

    If you know it, please tell me.
