Drive for Intel(R) RealSense(TM) Camera SR300 Virtual Device?
Hello,
Several days ago I had to desible the camera, but unforutnally instead of clicking on desible I pressed uninstall (In Spanish these 2 words are very similar ("deshabilitar" and "desinstalar")). I tried to reinstall all the drivers but the Virtual device one does not appear. The camera works in some applications like Teams, but not in Windows Hello and neither the Camera application.
Here is a screenshot of the Device Administrator, you can see at the bottom that the device is recogniced but it says that there is not a driver.
I would apreciate if could help me.
Greetings, Pedro.

Hi Pedro Gomezgarcia In the Dispostivos de imagen section of the Device Manager, please right-click on the SR300 Depth driver and select the Uninstall option. Unplug the SR300 camera and wait a couple of seconds and then plug the camera back into the USB port. The drivers should then automatically reinstall.

Hi MartyG, I'm using a laptop and my camera is a built-in, how can I "Unplug" the device?

RealSense cameras that are built into a computer are significantly more difficult than the USB models to repair if they have a problem, unfortunately. In this particular case it is likely the absence of the removed software driver that is causing the problem rather than a hardware fault though, which does slightly increase the chances of achieving a solution.
The first step I would recommend is to find whether the manufacturer of your laptop has a technical support website, and if it does then can the camera drivers for your model of laptop be downloaded from that site.
