F455 discontinued

  Hi,
  Thanks for reaching out to us.
  Facial Authentication product family is being discontinued as of February 2022. Future development on these products will end from February 2022, but any purchases will still be supported through their 1-year warranty period.

  We cannot comment further on roadmap changes. We will continue to provide support for all RealSense products.

  Hello,
  a few years ago we wanted to use IntelRealSense ID in our project. About 3 months after the purchase, it appeared on the website that the product was discontinued. Which was an unpleasant surprise for us. Since then our F455 has been rotting in a drawer.

  Now in a random search of the web we found that the discontination warning has disappeared and the product is listed on www.intelrealsense.com while on support.intelrealsense.com it is in the EOL section.

  Can you please describe the actual reality so that someone can understand?
