What's the best choice for a small movement track
Hello everyone,
I am planning to do a project about movement study of a origami structure, the origami will about the same size as a tennis ball and I am wondering whats it the best option camera for this application, minding that the camare has to be relativly close to the body, the camera will be inserted in a box with 700 mm 500 mm 500 mm and precision up to the millimiter is important.

Hi Sergiooooo17 If the small origami structure is not moving fast and depth / distance measuring accuracy is critical then the D415 model should be appropriate for your needs. It has a minimum depth sensing distance of 0.3 meters / 300 mm and so should be able to depth-detect the origami if the camera will be positioned at least 500 mm from the structure. The D415 also has around 2x less depth error over distance than the D435 / D435i models and has an optimal depth accuracy resolution of 1280x720 (compared to 848x480 on D435 / D435i and D455).
