F455 / Windows 10 : obtaining the correct driver
I have a F455 I am using on Windows 10.
I am able to use "RealSense Viewer" v2.50.0 to create a .bag file. If I then apply rs-convert.exe to that .bag file I am able to extract a set of PNG files which show the scene in front of the camera (strange colours but you recognise the picture).
I have written a C# console program to attempt to interact with the camera but when I run it I get an exception System.Exception: No device connected.
When I use Device Manager to inspect the Camera the 'Driver Provider' is shown as 'Microsoft' so I'm guessing the camera isn't using the correct driver.
I have now downloaded RealsenseID v0.25. as I understand from an earlier question that this is how you obtain the Windows Driver for F455.
I now want to use the driver. This section of the README seems to suggest that I have to build the driver myself.
I have done that and the output seems to suggest that everything went well but I don't have a file I would recognise as a driver so I would appreciate knowing if I've interpreted the README correctly. Is this how you obtain a Windows 10 driver for a F455 ? And is there no other way of obtaining it ?

Hi Richard,
We do not provide Windows 10 driver for F455 to work with.
In order to get started, download and install the latest Intel RealSense ID SDK.
The Intel RealSense ID SDK includes the Intel RealSense ID Viewer software, API documentation and libraries for Windows, Linux and Android as well as code samples. The building steps are not to build the driver.
For your information, Intel RealSense SDK 2.0 software is not compatible with the F455 camera. Intel RealSense SDK 2.0 and Intel RealSense ID SDK are using different API.

Hi Richard,
Yes, it should be work. You can verify by running the rsid-viewer.exe (GUI to view and use RealsenseID).
