hi marty - with my case (detecting depth changes on a table top 2m away from the camera) which is the best setting ? Do you think the changing the A-factor will have a beneficial effect on the RMS...

Hi Marty (and anyone else) - just two questions here. (1) I'm unable to reduce the noise created with the depth image once the objects are +1.5m away from the camera - no lighting setup or surface ...

btw. it's freezing because OpenCV cant handle the image it's receiving from the camera.

hi Marty - when I remove the max distance from the depth cutoff feature it just freezes Unity. This is the same as when i set the max distance to be beyond the wall. Also - wouldn't it just give m...

sorry Marty - i didn't explain that properly - the camera & projector are directly in front of the screen (i took the photo from an angle without thinking) I'm trying to pick up objects as close to...

Hey Carlsonito - can I ask how you were able to get such a defined depth image ? I'm using the R415 with the Unity wrapper for the sdk and my output looks much more muddy. I would like to be able ...

Cheers Marty. I'll look into that. I think the key to solving this will be in getting access to that Rsstream depth data before it creates the depth texture - so I can discount the too-close-data....
